Evan urges him to be quiet since Jenny is in the room, although Eddie claims that Jenny would not hear them since she is watching Eddie and Evan inform Emery of the theft and enlist Emery's help in returning the nutcracker to the mall.
Retreating to Emery and Evan's bedroom, the boys talk him to him about a doctor who has a son and a husband, asking him to solve it. During the van ride home, Evan informs Eddie that Emery does not need to work as an elf anymore, and Eddie asks how much money he got from selling his Beanie Babies and if he would buy pizza for them. Shortly after, they all head to the country club, with Louis finally swapping out the family minivan's Washington, D.C. plates with Florida ones; custom ones that read "SO CHINEEZ", with a bumper sticker that claims Jessica is proud of her kid; having received it from their elementary school, Evan and Emery both believe their mother is proud of them before exclaiming at the other. At the end of the school year, Evan writes about his family's tale after moving to Orlando in his classmates' yearbooks. Emery responds that it was awful, having to deal with an endless line of people, shoving parents and crying babies, with a rude Santa Claus as well; he then tells his brothers that he hates himself and is going to bed. Evan tells her that he wanted to buy lunch as it was pizza day in the cafeteria, although Jessica replies that today was the day the food at home expired, and tells him to eat it quickly before it turns bad. Evan regroups with Jenny in the limo, where Emery rejoins them, telling them that Hollywood sucks and that he finds the excessive lifestyle and lack of consequences to be unsustainable.
