Deep sound, good bass, voices are nice and clear.
It's [very much] controlled. Great pressing. The border on the back seems to be a bit darker — this may also be true of other pressings, but this is the only one I've seen in person. I have #0396/1000 and the needle skips every time it hits one side of the color blend throughout the first two songs on side A.

Bass seems a bit low, especially compared to the 1996 Low End Theory colored labels vinyl and volume needs to be turned up a bit.
I was waiting for an original for a long time but decided to pick this due to price and convenience, I'm very happy with it. That's the whole vibe of Tribe's drum sound I was trying to go for.All aspects of the group's lyricism improved on the album, including The album cover artwork depicts a woman painted in John Bush of AllMusic praised the album for being "impeccably produced", "artistically adept" and "lyrically inventive.

Both pressings are not the loudest (due to the amount of tracks on both sides) but this pressing wins in the low end. Very good en solid pressing. "Alternative cover with red frame and different portraits (as discussed in Each version depicts different characters in the background, a time capsule of relevant Hip Hop artists at the time. The Midnight Marauder is a rare cosmetic Lunar costume that can be used on the Neon Ninja class. It sounds like a classic.
