Storming out in the middle of dinner is patheticly hilarious. I liked her, then I got annoyed, then mad, then annoyed again, then I finally liked her again (but not as much as I first did). Huh. "This book is about a girl named Carly. I could relate to the exact feelings that she was describing.
This novel is a fun and fluffy read. Join
Yes, it was a minor part of the book, but it was reiterated a few times towards the beginning and really turned me off. but thats wat i like about .
It just proves that the begginings of books need to be made intruiging so that people want to read more.
Share. I read through the first day of school, even. Storming out in the middle of dinner over an insensative comment from your father is stupid. She was born in 1969 in North Carolina. Welcome back.
age 12+ Based on 1 review. they both go to the some school.
The best whim ever. I don’t have anything against Buckhead itself. Talk about a cryptic title.
Book Reviews. It's still pretty fluffy, but well paced with some interesting characters.
I mean, seriously? she has written many novels, including the famous IM books, ttyl, ttfn, and l8r, g8r.Lauren Myracle is the author of numerous young adult novels.
Carly seemed to have it right. The book was set in Buckhead which should have been sign #1 that I wasn’t going to like it. Wealth, privilege, and way too many pastel-tinted opinions...that's Carly's life. South. After my irritation with the character faded, I saw this as a comedy. Anyway, with these two factors, I knew I was going to be reading a fantastic book and I was right. The reason i read this book was because I read the first page in the book. While Peace, Love & Baby Ducks is narrated by the older sister, The Year My Sister Got Lucky is told from the point of view of the younger sister, and both deal with young women reconsidering their lifestyles and priorities. Then there was the time when she refused to take the dive into the water. She was born in 1969 in North Carolina.

At the very beginning I had great hope for her. Then there was the time when she refused to take the dive into the water.
She has a younger sister Anna who is more developed. And if someone asked me NOW what it's about, I'd most likely stammer and "um" a lot and eventually say, "It's about sisters. The part that amused me the most was that Carly probably actually would have liked and fit in in L5P if she wasn’t so busy being condescending.I like this but I found Anna (Carly's sister)a bit of a dimwit/crybaby. This novel is a fun and fluffy read.I was pleasantly surprised by this book which I expected to be more annoying in its fluffiness.
Lauren Myracle holds an MA in English from Colorado State University and an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College. Well, it wasn’t much of a change. Talk about a cryptic title. Kate Pavao, Common Sense Media . Peace, Love and Baby Ducks Book Review. Peace, Love and Baby Ducks. If I was Carly I would go up there and push her off the board. I liked her, then I got annoyed, then mad, then annoyed again, then I finally liked her again (but not as much as I first did). Peace, Love, and Baby ducks, a well written novel, brings you through the ups and downs up sister-hood.
The reason i read this book was because I read the first page in the book. I guess it was just equal opportunity because all this book proved is that you don’t have to live in NYC or LA to be a rich, vapid mean-girl. Wow!
We’d love your help.
Nina Guilbeau “You two are sisters -it’s your job to help each other,” at least that’s what fifteen year old Carly Lauderdale’s father has consistently told her while explaining her duties as Anna’s older sister. We found no such entries for this book title.
Not the best book I've read. I could relate to the exact feelings that she was describing.

A few more pages into the My whole "relationship" with the main character was strange. A few more pages into the book though and I could see where it was heading. I must say that there were some pretty shocking parts in the book,so if you want to read this... expect the unexpected.Peace, Love, and Baby Ducks by Lauren Myracle is a novel about Carly, whose life has always been privileged. The very beginning of the book opens with Carly writing a letter to her sister Anna and I could totally understand what she was trying to say.
Not one of those "geek chic" books for YA librarians, this book is super relatable. This is the story of two sisters who are really close in age. The one thing I hate about Anna's character was always when she was begging for forgiveness for the things she shouldn't have done in the first place to cause this kind of situation. It's very much centered around the moral of sisterly love and watching out for one another.
