Swirling your wine around the glass first will release all those great aromas and allow your wine to "breathe". What’s your overall impression? So to help simplify the process, All of the swirling and sniffing can seem quite excessive, even intimidating, to the untrained taster.

Truly tasting wine can be a confusing process. The first 15 minutes will be used to mingle, take photos and gives you an opportunity grab a complimentary cocktail.
