During the winter months you can experience Dogsledding, Snowshoeing, Snowmobiling, giant ice slide and roasting marshmallows over the open fire. The following day while we did the dogsledding which was amazing, there were plenty of other things to do such as tubing down an ice slide, toasting marshmallows, mini ice hockey and getting to play with the friendly dogs.
We did try to book in to try our luck at seeing the northern lights the following night however they were completely booked out.

I expected large crowds competing to view the aurora but I was pleasantly surprised. The big public teepee is nice too. We are formerly from Fort Resolution – the oldest trading settlement in the territories and home to mostly Dene and Metis […] We also happened to see some great Aurora, so the whole thing was definitely worthwhile.
