I thought it was incredible on first listen and I keep seeing it get 7’s from critics. But yeah, she's for sure B-list at best. Definitely 9/10 territory. As for lyrics - there are some good lines in here and some bad ones, but if you're listening to this album primarily for the lyrics, I'd say you're missing out. Still, the escapist hedonism and self-loathing toxicity endemic to the music of artists like The Weeknd or Future is something I find engaging and enjoyable.The deluxe tracks are strong too. really elevate them.
