This book is difficult to rate because I thought it was really well-plotted and rather amateurishly written. Yes she has some serious baggage that is weighing her down mentally, but the brutal trauma she experienced just eight weeks before totally explains her mental state. Unless it's a third party seller, Amazon don't take the money when they order is placed, as others have said. Why the British narrator for a book that takes place in Virginia?Riley is foolhardy with a serious death wish so boohoo to all her sorrows and issues. If you requested an item that is On Shelf at a Sarasota County library, it will most likely arrive at your selected branch in 2-3 days.. The more I thought about it, the angrier it made me. There's a lot of tough girl posturing in this novel and the mc has obvious PTSD (on the page) and trauma because of her time at this monster's hands. So, yeah, I just didn't vibe with the story or the main character but it wasn't bad, necessarily, just not for me. Details I know. I can’t even finish this.

Overall it just felt really derivative -- of Silence of the Lambs and also of another book I read with a similar plot (The Doll Maker.) Now this girl has been through some serious shit.
